This past week has been bad for GrandpaZ.com. On Tuesday, November
22nd, at about 3:30 P.M. EST I noticed that the site was down again.
It had been down for two days solid earlier in the month on November
4th & 5th. Verio.com has been hosting www.GrandpaZ.com
for eleven years. If the link works, the webpage is back up. The
webpage will be a week + or so old. This was a rather unusual happening
for me because in the eleven years the down time could be counted in
minutes, the longest being maybe an hour. This time, all I could get out
of tech support was that they (level one) had not heard back from level
two support and that they apologize for the inconvenience.
To make a long story short. www.GrandpaZ.com is now www.GrandpaZoz.com
for a short time. GrandpaZoz.com is on a different hosting service and
hopefully it will stay up. Grandpazoz.com is just a temporary measure.
I plan to change back to GrandpaZ.com as soon as I can get my hands on
the GrandpaZ.com domain and move it. For the time being it will be an
either or situation. If not one try the other.
You might notice that this site is using WordPress (a suggestion from
daughter #2), so feel free to make a comment or two when you are on the
site. Note: The first time you make a comment you will have to be
approved by Grandma Z. After that you will automatically be approved on
the spot.
I am only a novice with WordPress, so if you have suggestions or
comments, this is the time and place. At one time, I was a quick
learner, or so I thought.
